Usually it is one of the hardest, but best days of the year.  This year was no different.  The team had a strong showing at the 2018 Ultimate Challenge, as advertised, "The Ultimate Challenge is a Gran Fondo taking place on August 11th and hosted by the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. This unique opportunity allows participants to ride the exact Stage 5 route as the pros, as well as offering riders a great spot to watch the finishing sprints of Stage 5 at Snowbird Resort. So, what are you waiting for? Don’t miss your opportunity to experience the high-adrenaline, incredibly challenging Queen Stage route exactly like the pros." Most of the team met at the starting line at the Canyons and rode together until the base of the Empire climb in Park City. So many strong team members participated. It's hard to say who enjoyed their time in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  as temperatures topped out at 100 + degrees. Usually that canyon alone is enough for most rides, but after 90 miles it was brutal.
